A main gate is the first thing people see of your house and the part that takes the most knocks. We build gates from square pipe, angle and sheet to the exact width and height of your opening, and set the hinges or sliding track so the gate runs smoothly for years.
Bring a picture of a design you like, or ask us to suggest one. You get a drawing with sizes before work starts, so there are no surprises on the day it arrives.
How the price is worked out
A main gate is priced on its width and height, the gauge and weight of the pipe and sheet, the design (plain sheet costs less than laser-cut panels or heavy patterns), the hardware such as the sliding track, rollers and locks, and the paint finish. Steel rates move with the market, so we price your gate when you ask and give you one figure for the gate made, brought to site and fitted.

01Is a main gate priced per kg or per square foot?
Both are used in the trade. Iron gates are often quoted by weight, per kg, and sheet or laser-cut (CNC) gates sometimes by the square foot. Either way the figure depends on the gauge of the pipe and sheet, the design and the hardware. We give you one price for the finished gate, brought to site and fitted, so there is nothing left to add up.
02Can you make a laser-cut (CNC) gate design?
Yes. Laser-cut (CNC) sheet panels can be set into the gate frame in a pattern you choose, or one we suggest. You see the design drawn to your gate's size before anything is cut.
03Can a small pedestrian door be built into the main gate?
Yes. A small door in one leaf lets people walk in without opening the whole gate. It works on both sliding and swing gates.
04Do you repair and repaint old gates?
Yes. We reweld broken joints, fix hinges and sliding tracks that have worn, and repaint old gates so they look and run like new.
